Both Slevin and Lennon are already in the Final Stage of PDC UK Q-School hoping to win back their Tour Cards at the first time of asking.
They are just two of Ireland’s seven players who are in with a chance of securing their PDC Tour Card for the next two years after reaching the Final Stage already.
A further five Irish darts hopefuls have progressed to the Final Stage already too after successful runs on both Day 1 and Day 2 of UK Q-School.
Shane McGuirk was the sole Irishman who qualified for the Final Stage of Q-School on Day 1, with a further four joining him on Day 2.
They are former PDC Tour card holder Ciaran Teehan, Damien Grimes, Niall Culleton and Stephen Rosney.
All seven of these Irish players will be in with a chance of earning their PDC Tour Card for the next two years after reaching the Final Stage. They will find out their fate from January 8-11 as they look to make it to the darting ‘big time’.

Although seven Irish darts players have already qualified for the PDC UK Q-School Final Stage, there is likely to be even more joining them on Day of the opening stage of the yearly darting event in Milton Keynes.
Wednesday, January 7 is the last day for darting hopefuls to progress from the opening stage to the Final Stage, which begins tomorrow.
As previously mentioned, Dylan Slevin, Steve Lennon, Shane McGuirk, Ciaran Teehan, Damien Grimes, Niall Culleton and Stephen Rosney have already booked their place at UK Q-School Final Stage.
There are still another 20 Irish darts players hopeful of landing one of the final 16 spots up for grabs on ‘judgement day’ at Q-School on January 7.
The likes of John O’Shea, Ronan McDonagh and several other Ireland representatives will give it their all on Day 3 of Stage 1, or else will be sent home packing.

With 16 spots up for grabs on Wednesday afternoon, several Irish players will be hoping to keep their dreams alive of securing a PDC Tour Card by reaching the Final Stage.
If any more players from the Emerald Isle make it into the Final Stage, they will join the likes of Slevin, who was one of three Irish players who fell down the PDC Order of Merit following the World Darts Championship, Lennon, McGuirk and co.
Then, the business end of Q-School really begins as all of the qualifiers from the opening stage battle it out in the Final Stage, looking to get their hands on that coveted PDC Tour Card.
There are a total of 27 PDC Tour Cards up for grabs across both UK and European Q-School, so getting an Irish hand on at least one of them won’t be an easy task.
