Conor McGregor has released new training footage as his UFC White House preparation continues.
The Irishman has shared some sparring footage, with the former two-weight simultaneous UFC champion looking sharp.
Conor McGregor has shared some brand new training footage as he ups the intensity ahead of a potential comeback at UFC White House this summer.
Although unconfirmed, McGregor has his sights set on headlining UFC White House on June 14. He will first have to enter new UFC contract negotiations in February, but looks poised to make his long awaited comeback after almost five years away from the octagon.
Ahead of his potential return, the 37-year-old has reportedly been back in the gym for several weeks now, gradually upping the intensity of his workouts as he gets back into fighting shape.
Whilst training back home at SBG Ireland alongside friend and long-term coach John Kavanagh, McGregor has also been helping the homeless in Dublin. As he prepares to return to the cage, the Irishman is evidently in a far clearer headspace than he has been for several years.

The former two-weight simultaneous UFC champion has now released some new training footage ahead of his proposed return at UFC White House. The footage shows the Irishman sparring with several different opponents, sharpening his tools and getting fighting fit once again.
The UFC star revealed that he is going into this fight, whether it be at the White House or indeed an alternative option, as the best possible version of himself:
“I’m going into this fight 100% Conor McGregor,” said the Dubliner.
MMA fans are beginning to take McGregor more seriously as his preparations heat up and the intensity of his training evidently increases too. Now all that’s left is for the Irishman to get his comeback fight officially announced.

After sharing the new training and sparring footage on social media, MMA fans are excited at the prospect of seeing the great Conor McGregor return to the octagon once and for all.
His rumoured UFC White House comeback continues to gather momentum with UFC President Dana White even saying there is a strong possibility the former two-division simultaneous UFC champion returns on June 14 in Washington DC.
Although White has ruled out the potential of McGregor fighting Michael Chandler or Jorge Masvidal, there are still several options out there for the Irishman.
The more training footage fans see from McGregor, the more likely it is that ‘Notorious’ gets officially confirmed for the UFC White House main event.

The event is going to be monumental, and having someone like McGregor headline makes total sense. It makes sense for McGregor as a fighter, the UFC as a brand and the US President Donald Trump too.
Rumours that McGregor vs Justin Gaethje could headline UFC White House have gathered momentum following Gaethje’s win over Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324.
‘The Highlight’ now holds the interim 155-pound belt which is an added incentive for McGregor, who has previous with the American and his manager Ali Abdelaziz too.
Although unconfirmed, it is evident that Conor McGregor is working towards UFC White House with his preparation and training. His comeback should be announced imminently, with June 14 almost locked in for the return of ‘The Mac’.
