Conor McGregor has vowed to ‘make UFC great again’ as his rumoured return at UFC White House gathers momentum.
The former two-weight simultaneous UFC champion is expected to return on June 14 at the White House this summer.
Conor McGregor’s latest post on social media has added to the speculation that he will return once and for all at UFC White House this summer.
McGregor last fought at UFC 264 back in July 2021, which will be almost five years ago once he steps into the octagon at UFC White House for his super-fight with Michael Chandler.
Although unconfirmed, McGregor vs Chandler is expected to headline UFC White House on the South Lawn, with several other high-calibre fights rumoured to also be on the card.
President Donald Trump will be in attendance, perhaps even in the cage on fight night presenting the winning fighters with unique belts. Trump may even conduct some face-offs at the pre-fight press conferences and weigh-ins, who knows.

McGregor recently strengthened his relationship with Trump with a $23million dollar investment from the US President’s family into one of the Irishman’s companies, which led fans to believe that McGregor will most definitely be fighting at the White House on June 14.
Now, McGregor’s most recent social media post on X (formerly Twitter), has further indicated his relationship with Trump and his desire to fight at the White House in the summer.
McGregor’s tweet read: “It will be my great honour to ‘MAKE UFC GREAT AGAIN!’ Only on @paramountplus.”
This post from ‘Notorious’ certainly indicates that his rumoured UFC White House fight is going full steam ahead. McGregor is evidently using Trump’s slogan of ‘make America great again’ and turning it into his own, doubling down on his desire to compete in the biggest UFC event of all time.

Ever since Dana White and President Donald Trump announced they would be staging a UFC event at the White House, Conor McGregor has made it abundantly clear that he wants to fight on the card.
For the UFC, having their biggest star return to action is a no brainer. Equally, for the stature of the UFC White House event, having the biggest MMA fighter to ever grace the octagon in the main event makes sense.
McGregor has ramped up training in recent weeks too, and has reportedly been back in the gym with his coach John Kavanagh since November last year.
With his countless social media posts teasing colossal fight purses upon his UFC return, teaser videos of his in action and even videos of he and Michael Chandler going back and forth over the years, McGregor looks nailed on to headline UFC White House.

As of yet, no official announcement has been made on the card, but it seems highly likely that the former two-division simultaneous UFC king will be involved on the card, more than likely in the main event.
Add to that the fact the 37-year-old has strengthened his relationship with President Trump recently and has heavily hinted that his return will indeed be on the South Lawn come Sunday, June 14.
The billboard of McGregor advertising UFC on Paramount+ also indicates that the Irishman will indeed be competing in the MMA organisation this year.
Having McGregor return to the UFC is a win win for everyone involved. The fans get to see the most popular MMA fighter of all time return, the UFC make money and President Trump is content with the Irishman making his highly-anticipated return on his very own card.
