Conor McGregor Teases UFC White House Super-Fight With Michael Chandler

Conor McGregor has taken to social media and further teased his UFC return with a video of him and Michael Chandler.

McGregor captioned the video with a simple emoji, indicating he will fight Chandler at UFC White House in June.

Conor McGregor Teases UFC White House Return

Former two-division simultaneous UFC champion Conor McGregor has taken to social media to further tease his return to the octagon.

The Irishman has reportedly been back in the gym and training intensely as he looks to make his return to competition for the first time in almost five years.

McGregor recently provided an update on his rumoured UFC White House clash with Michael Chandler, and has teased his return even more with this most recent social media post.

The 37-year-old posted a video with various edits of him and Chandler, indicating that his fight with ‘Iron’ is still on and is even nearing an official announcement.

McGregor’s video had no caption, only one emoji which appears to be the White House emoji.

It seems that ‘Notorious’ is firmly on course to return to the octagon and face bitter rival Chandler once and for all on the biggest stage of them all.

UFC President Dana White is yet to add any further comment on who will fight at UFC White House next summer, but has hinted that he would love McGregor to come back and headline the event.

McGregor’s latest social media post indicates he is serious about a return this time, and only has eyes for Chandler on June 14 on the South Lawn for UFC White House.

Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler Set For UFC White House Main Event

Should Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler get made for UFC White House, it would undoubtedly serve as the main event.

No matter what other fighters are on the card, regardless of whether they hold a belt or not, if McGregor fights he is the main event. Simple.

Until the card is announced officially by Dana White, McGregor’s return remains mere speculation. McGregor has teased colossal fight purses for his return, and a main event slot at UFC White House against a rival would undoubtedly provide multi-million dollar purses for all parties.

Even though McGregor won’t have fought in almost five years by the time UFC White House comes around, he remains the single biggest draw in the sport and the biggest name MMA has ever seen.

If the Irishman is serious about his return and does indeed fight Chandler on the South Lawn, you can be sure that he is being handsomely paid for it.

Even though he is well past his best and hasn’t exactly lived the life outside of the octagon in recent years, McGregor star power and commercial value is unmatched, which in turn will generate millions for the UFC.

McGregor vs Chandler might not be the highest level fight at UFC White House, far from it in fact. However, there remains nobody bigger than the Irishman when it comes to stardom in MMA.

Chandler is the perfect dance partner for McGregor too, making it all the more intriguing. It seems that all roads are indeed leading to UFC White House on June 14, with Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler serving as the main event.
