Johnny Kenny is adamant Celtic are beginning to learn what manager Wilfried Nancy wants from them.
The new manager has struggled at Parkhead since he arrived to replace Martin O’Neill.
O’Neill had been Celtic interim manager and won seven of his eight matches before he stepped aside.
That left Nancy to take the reins but it has been a disaster so far in Glasgow with the Scottish Premiership giants losing three on the spin.
That has been an unwanted record for the 48-year-old with no Celtic gaffer ever suffering that run.
And the Frenchman has been accused of tinkering too much as he swapped to a back three which is yet to come good.
Ex-interim O’Neill has urged fans to be patient with Nancy.

And for striker Kenny, he believes the squad are beginning to understand what the new manager is demanding from his players in terms of setup as well as the tactical side.
So, the patience needed may not necessarily take the entire campaign to subside.
“It’s been very good, we obviously haven’t got the results to mark that but he’s been very good,” the Republic of Ireland star said.
“He’s made changes and we just need to adapt and implement them on the pitch to ultimately get results.
“I’ve loved it. Every manager has different systems, you just have to study and learn their system.
“The results haven’t been what we wanted but I can see it progressing over the next few weeks and getting the results we need.”
Celtic know they must get back to winning ways when they face Dundee United this week.
And Kenny is likely to start after injury to Kelechi Iheanacho on Sunday in the Premier Sports Cup Final.
Why have Celtic struggled under Nancy?
The 22-year-old is sure the club will improve from their dismal start under Nancy and he says they have to start on Wednesday.
But he brushed off rumours that they had lost confidence in his leadership – instead insisting the squad are fully on board.
“I don’t know (why some have struggled), it’s football at the end of the day,” he added.
“We haven’t had much time on the training pitch since the new manager’s came in, had a game every three days.
“We’re getting there and hopefully we can put it right.
“100 percent (all players are behind the manager), I don’t think there’s any player in there has turned their back on the man, we’re professionals and here to do a job.
“We’re all fully in it and will get behind everyone in this building.”
