Brendan Rodgers has broken a record with new club Al-Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League.
The 52-year-old took over his new club back in December and has not looked back.
Rodgers and two ex-Celtic staff were appointed and immediately moved to demand higher standards.
That decision seems to have paid off with the Irishman reaping the benefits with a strong run of results.
Rodgers was dubbed “The Godfather” in a social media post by his club.
Dressing the Irishman like the infamous Michael Corleone, they captioned their post: “Brendan: Unbeaten,” accompanied by a gold medal emoji.
And it came after his side crushed Al-Hazm 5-1 away from home to record a sixth match unbeaten.
That leaves the ex-Celtic boss in a league of his own with no manager at the club ever doing the same.
It was an impressive result which had been goalless at the break.
But Rodgers’ team talk at half-time clearly inspired improvement in the second-45 which he got in spades.
It leaves Al-Qadsiah sitting fifth in the SPL and now just eight points behind league leaders Al Hilal.
Rodgers spoke after the game and admitted he was beaming with pride with his team’s attacking efforts.

And he acknowledged that was one of his main key objectives when he arrived to turn around their forward fortunes.
“I’m very proud of my team today,” he said.
“From the moment I arrived, I made it clear that we would be an attacking team.
“This is what we work on consistently, and we succeeded once again in scoring five goals.
“Which reflects the identity we are trying to establish.
“In today’s game, we noticed a slight decrease in effort at times, but the most important thing is how the team manages the flow of the match.
“In the second half, we played with more composure and confidence.
“Controlled the rhythm, created chances, and scored goals, which reflects the team’s maturity and development.”
Rodgers resigned at Celtic back in October which triggered the club’s downward spiral.
The arrival of Wilfried Nancy did not work and he was sacked after just 33 days.
And that was in between two separate Martin O’Neill interim boss stints.
Rodgers, meanwhile, has had some time off before returning to the game which is potentially why things are going so well for the former Liverpool and Swansea City gaffer.
It remains to be seen if Al-Qadsiah will claw back the gap between themselves and the top.
But if Rodgers has anything to do with it, they’ll make it a good scrap.
