Killian Phillips has trolled Celtic after his St Mirren side beat the Hoops in Sunday’s Premier Sports Cup Final.
Republic of Ireland hopeful Phillips played an instrumental part for the Buddies as they sent Celts home empty handed.
St Mirren were dominant on the day and comfortably won the game 3-1 in a result which was well earned and thoroughly deserved.
Celtic boss Wilfried Nancy has been defended by both Martin O’Neill – the club’s former interim boss – and striker Johnny Kenny who explained how the players are all behind the Frenchman.
However St Mirren took advantage of the struggles at Parkhead to ensure they travelled back to Paisley with the trophy in hand.
It was a buzz for Phillips, 23, who played the full 90 minutes and he made sure to rub it into his opponents at the end of the action.

Discussing the victory with a prominent Scottish football YouTuber, Phillips talked about the massive gulf in finances between clubs.
And he mocked the Hoops for losing the game to a squad where he was signed for a “bag of crisps” compared to the hefty fees Celtic have paid in recent seasons.
“It was unbelievable,” Phillips told Sam North’s Footie Adventures.
“I don’t want to be sentimental with my career but this one means a lot more.
“The difference in the the two clubs is extortionate, you know, with the budgets and stuff like that. They bought players for £10million and I was bought for a bleeding bag of crisps.
“It was unbelievable to go and do this against the best team in the country in the last 20-30 years.
“We believed we could win all week. They had beaten us two times in a row but they’d only been ahead by one.”

Buddies fans lauded Phillips after the game with some demanding he win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
The Irishman was excellent and he will surely hope his form this term can keep him in the mind of ROI boss Heimir Hallgrimsson.
The nation still have an opportunity to make the World Cup next year if they can get past Czechia in the playoff semi-final.
They will, of course, then have to come through another tie to make it to the USA, Mexico and Canada, but Phillips will be desperate to be there.
The midfield playmaker has been capped three times for his country and will hope to add more appearances to his name.
