Limerick Horse Racing Tips: Best Bets For Tuesday

January 26, 2026

See here our best bets for Tuesday’s action at Limerick headlined by the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Flat Race.

The ground at Limerick is currently heavy with the possibility of a further 12mm of rain prior to racing.

According to the IHRB, the situation will continue to be monitored. There is an 8am precautionary inspection on Tuesday morning.

Limerick Horse Racing Tips

2:14 – Likealightswitch @ 5/2
2:49 – Laurets d’Estruval @ 1/1

2:14 – Conference & Banqueting Facilities At Limerick Mares Maiden Hurdle – LIKEALIGHTSWITCH @ 5/2

Previously due to take on Oldschool Outlaw and Place De La Nation on the postponed Fairyhouse card last weekend, LIKEALIGHTSWITCH remains in calmer waters for the time being and should be very hard to beat here.

Adrian Sexton’s daughter of Soldier Of Fortune was runner-up to Radiator Springs on heavy ground at Clonmel earlier this month, who was coming off a decent third behind Oldschool Outlaw and Bambino Fever at Naas.

The five-year-old was a shade unlucky not to win that day, stumbling on landing two out and making a bad mistake at the final flight to go down by just over a length and she may not even need to improve in that department to land the spoils today.

Harry Sexton claims 7lbs in the saddle and that difference should be enough to get her over the line in front.

2:49 – Follow Limerick Racecourse On Instagram Maiden Hurdle – LAURETS D’ESTRUVAL @ 1/1

LAURETS D’ESTRUVAL is entitled to take a massive step forward from his stable debut at this venue on St. Stephen’s Day when runner-up to Eric McNamara’s promising Starting Fifteen, who boasts good form behind Grade 1 Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle favourite Talk The Talk.

He was far from fully fit that day according to the betting but showed more than enough to suggest he’s got a prize like this in his locker and his sole run in France, runner-up to Lovely Guy, is working out nicely with the winner landing two Listed contests since.

The third from that day at Limerick, Arthur Moore’s Star Of The Week, franked the form with a narrow second to Willie Crawford’s Green Hope at Down Royal last week.

Willie Mullins, Paul Townend and Rich Ricci is an outfit to be feared and it’d be no surprise to see the five-year-old open his account on the second time of asking in Ireland.
