Killian Phillips is being lined up by three MLS clubs for a move this winter window.
The Republic of Ireland cap has been outstanding for St Mirren this season.
Phillips trolled Celtic after lifting the Premier Sports Cup back in December and he had every right.
The performance from the Buddies that day was terrific and had numerous clubs sitting up to take notice of their key men.
The 23-year-old falls into that bracket and with a few days of January remaining, a deal is there to be done.
It is being reported by the Herald that three clubs in the US are keen.
Portland Timbers, San Diego and Minnesota United have all made contact with St Mirren.

Bids are now being prepared by the trio and it is claimed around €800,000 would be enough to get it done.
St Mirren supporters have not been too happy with the reported fee.
However it’s the thought of losing their midfield talisman in general that is causing the panic.
Former Crystal Palace kid Phillips was born in the United States and holds a passport.
That means he can be brought to clubs as a ‘domestic’ player.
The significance of that would be that clubs still have foreign player spots within their squads.
St Mirren have a contract extension option in his current deal to take him up to 2027.
And they will trigger that before doing any negotiations to ensure they get top dollar for their player.
Phillips can comfortably play as a No,6 in the engine room or slightly further forward in the No.8 position.
Manager Stephen Robinson will be desperate to hold onto his star.
Phillips’ Republic of Ireland return hopes
However the Northern Irishman will understand should he wish to pursue a fresh challenge and what will be a more lucrative deal Stateside.
It is also claimed by the same publication that an unnamed EFL Championship club are interested.
That club could possibly make a last-ditch approach for the midfielder which would scupper the US trio.
Phillips will have one eye on returning to the Republic of Ireland set-up sooner rather than later.
His three caps so far have come against Luxembourg, Senegal and Armenia.
The World Cup playoff vs Czechia will come too soon but he’ll still have a future under Heimir Hallgrimsson.
But his desire has never gone away.
“I’ve always said I wanted to play for Ireland, even if just for one game,” he said.
“I wanted to have one cap.”
