The NBA Finals shifts to Indiana as the Pacers host the Thunder. See here our best NBA Game 3 finals picks for the match-up as well as the odds and how to watch.
Indiana stole homecourt advantage with a breathtaking Game 1 victory at the Paycom Center, overturning a deficit of 15 points to take the lead for the first time with 0.3 seconds left thanks to Tyrese Haliburton’s game-winner.
Despite committing a season-high 25 turnovers, the Pacers willed themselves to victory – in large part thanks to a lacklustre shooting display from the Thunder – flipping the series on its head entirely.
Entering the match-up as 1/7 favourites with the top betting sites in Ireland to win the title, there was no option other than to bounce back in Game 2 for Oklahoma City and that’s exactly what they did.
League MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 34 points, five rebounds and eight assists in a blowout win as the Thunder punched right back to stop the series becoming potentially out of reach.
The Pacers are renowned for playing elite team basketball and that means the role players are just as important as team leaders like Haliburton and Pascal Siakam.
Nesmith has been somewhat of a revelation this postseason, developing into an elite 3-and-D wing – averaging 13.8 points a game on 50% shooting from three and 49% from the field.
He’s still yet to put his best foot forward in the series, scoring ten in Game 1 and 14 in Game 2 (played just 25 minutes, sat in the fourth quarter) – not bad by any means but he’s capable of more as seen in the Eastern Conference Finals opener against the New York Knicks where he scored 30.
A total of 62% of his jumpshots against the Thunder have been open or wide open and playing with Haliburton ensures that he gets consistent, quality looks from downtown.
Nesmith’s impressive ability to acquire the hot hand quickly is something the Pacers will look to utilise from early doors in this game so over 12.5 points at 20/23 gets a confident vote.

The Thunder spread at -4.5 looks worth playing at 10/13 here. Through the first two games of the series, Oklahoma City is doing most things right – they are turning the ball over at half the rate of Indiana.
They’re getting to the free throw line more and trump the Pacers in defensive rating too. Gilgeous-Alexander is getting whatever he wants, averaging 36 points, 5.5 assists, five rebounds and 3.5 steals.
The Thunder looked so dominant in Game 2 that it’s hard to see the Pacers having enough to combat the visitors’ talent across the board. The best team in the regular season, Oklahoma City finished with 68 wins and they’ve continued that form into the playoffs.
In the four meetings between the Thunder and Pacers throughout the 2025 season, OKC has tallied three wins and each was by at least five points. They are the superior unit and have built leads of at least 15 in both NBA Finals games.

The Thunder’s role players are equally as important as the Pacers’. These guys are who ultimately push you over the line in championship scenarios and Alex Caruso has proved to be a decisive factor for OKC.
The guard exploded in Game 2, hitting four of eight threes – shooting six of 11 from the field for a total of 20 points, three rebounds and assists.
Caruso is averaging 1.8 threes per game in his last ten outings on 42% from downtown and he’ll get ample opportunities from beyond the arc in Game 3. Even money for over 1.5 threes is too good not to take.
The 31-year-old joined NBA legend James Harden as the only Thunder in history to record at least 20 points off the bench in a Finals game and his impact on winning couldn’t be bigger.
