Fans and members of the media alike have been incessantly speculating who Mourinho’s mysterious fourth signing will be ever since he left that stunning press conference this morning.
The vast majority are in little doubt. Paul Pogba is top of the Special One’s list. Others have suggested Blaise Matuidi could be Manchester-bound. Romelu Lukaku has even been touted as a potential arrival, despite the new boss making it clear that a midfielder will be joining his ranks.
Former Manchester United player and current MUTV pundit, Paddy Crerand has had his say.
Paddy Crerand might as well have said Paul Pogba is the 4th! ? pic.twitter.com/26fw0V2dkr

“It may have been somebody who’s been here before.”
Not exactly subtle, is he.
Crerand, it appears, is certain. The prodigal son is returning. Paul Pogba will follow Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the doors of Old Trafford.
His claims, however, should be taken with a pinch of salt. This is the same Paddy Crerand that calmly asserted that Sir Alex Ferguson was going nowhere, just hours before the great man retired.
That being said, he has been proved correct a number of times before.
