Jordan Spieth Rebounds From Meltdown To Claim His Third Major At The Open

Heading into the final round of The Open at the Royal Birkdale, Jordan Spieth had a three shot lead and was heavy odds on to raise the Claret Jug. However, the young American had dropped four shots after 13 holes and many felt it was all coming apart for the 24-year-old.

His 13th, in particular, was an absolute nightmare with commentators claiming that his tee off was one of the worst they’d ever seen in a major tournament.

Spieth managed to finish the hole with a bogey and then, rather incredibly, he rebounded with three birdies and an eagle in his next four holes.
