Clarence Seedorf has been sacked as manager of AC Milan and will be replaced by Filippo Inzaghi.
Seedorf only took charge of Milan in January but was relieved of his duties after a highly disappointing 8th place finish in Serie A.
A club statement read: “AC Milan announces it has dismissed coach Clarence Seedorf and has handed the reins of the first team to Filippo Inzaghi until June 30, 2016.”
He had a 50% win percentage during his time as manager. Inzaghi has been promoted from his role as under-19 boss to take charge of the first team.
Seedorf made headlines last week when he scored a golazo during the Real Madrid vs Juventus Legends game.
He also hit the back of the net during Sunday’s Soccer Aid game, but has come crashing back down to earth this morning with the news of his dismissal.
Maybe Seedorf will decide to return to his playing career.Judging by the videos above, he’s still got it.
