One Zero Founders Speak About Recent Lance Armstrong Developments

Lance Armstrong publicly called out Paul Kimmage on Tuesday, twenty-four hours after the journalist did the same on Irish national radio.

It’s been a whirlwind twenty-four hours for us all at One Zero, but such is the high octane world of sports.

A significant proportion of interest has been gathering around the appearance of Lance Armstrong at the One Zero Conference in Dublin on October 21st.

Armstrong is but one of a global cast of influential players in the world of sport, and the business that surrounds it, that will be present on the day.

He is though perhaps the one name that has captured the imagination.

Overnight Lance Armstrong made it clear, to the One Zero Team and also via Twitter, that he wants just one person in the chair opposite him; Paul Kimmage.

Our intention was always to bring a world-class event to Dublin and to debate the areas of sport that are so vital to its future.

That is happening regardless.

With leaders from Twitter, the US Olympic Committee, Jaimie Fuller (SKINS) and many others being part of the debates on investment, innovation, technology, media and more, it’s clear that One Zero has talent on show throughout the entire event.

Sir Clive Woodward on leadership and the Lions, and Shane Lowry on the multi-million world of elite golf; these are the kind of stories that we at One Zero are bringing to Dublin.

We will respond with developments as they happen, but please bear with us. This is about much more than a conference, or an interview.

This is about putting on the best event possible and firmly cementing Ireland’s place on the map as a leading country in the worlds of sports, business and shit-hot content.
