Jaimie Fuller To Speak On Corruption And Ethics At One Zero Conference

Outspoken Skins Chairman, Jaimie Fuller, is to speak about the state of corruption in sports at the impressive One Zero Conference in Dublin next month.

Fuller, who as recently as February, referred to FIFA’s culture as “toxic” and incapable of reform, will provide a sixty-minute insight into his perception of sport and the current issues that are bringing it into disrepute.

Fuller made headlines last year when they announced themselves as the first ‘Non-Sponsors’ of FIFA, calling the organisation one that “unvalues sport and is tainted by corruption.”

Moderated by Newstalk’s Ger Gilroy, Fuller’s appearance should make for an interesting dynamic, as he shares a stage with Lance Armstrong, the man he once labelled “a serial cheat”.

Back in 2013, the Skins supremo launched Change Cycling Now (CCN) because, according to the BBC, of the UCI’s “sluggish response to the report by USADA into (Lance) Armstrong’s drug regime.”

“Armstrong is a serial cheat who led the most sophisticated, professionalised and successful doping programme that sport has ever seen” – Jaimie Fuller, via BBC

Fuller has long been an advocate for ridding the sporting world of corruption in all its forms, and even sued the UCI for $2 million for their “inability to run a clean sport”.

One Zero

A talk about corruption in sport, preceding a tell-all fireside chat with Lance Armstrong, One Zero is not to be missed.
