Damian Lillard sank an ice-cold three-pointer with 0.9 seconds remaining against the Houston Rockets to send the Portland Trailblazers through to the semi-finals of the Western Conference.
In a tight affair, Chandler Parsons gave the Rockets a 98-96 lead with 0.9 seconds remaining and the series looked destined for a game seven decider. However, ‘Illard’ has a habit of coming up trumps in pressure situations and he delivered once more, sealing a 99-98 win for Rip City with an ice-cold buzzer-beating three-pointer.
Lillard must have ice flowing through his veins, as he continues to perform in clutch situations. It is the first time in 14 years that the Blazers have won a playoff series and they advance with a 4-2 series win over Dwight Howard and the Rockets.
