In his last Munster appearance at Thomond Park, Simon Zebo produced a timely reminder to the crowd of what they will be missing.
The full-back is in action with the province for their Pro14 semi-final qualifier on Saturday afternoon against Edinburgh, and a bit of brilliance from the 28-year-old but a bit of daylight between themselves and Edinburgh early in the second half.
Picking the ball up just inside the Edinburgh half, Zebo took out a number of opposition players with a beautiful chip to create space for himself. He was then able to find Keith Earls in acres in space out wide, with the Ireland wing doing the rest as he grounded for Munster’s second try of the afternoon.

Stunning rugby from Simon Zebo.
He will be badly missed next season.

ABSOLUTE MAGIC FROM SIMON ZEBO.
He breaks the line with a chip, flings a monster pass to Earls and the Moyross Express finishes in the corner #MUNvEDI

JJ Hanrahan duly converted for the extra two points, creating a bit of breathing space for Johann van Graan’s side as they look to set up a semi-final showdown with Leinster in a fortnight’s time. However, the Scottish side have (at the time of writing) pulled it back to one point at 17-16 to set up a grandstand finale in Limerick.
