After playing a key role in securing Ireland’s third ever Grand Slam last weekend, it’s fair to say that Ireland prop Tadhg Furlong has had a pretty crazy week.
So in the aftermath of such a week it is no surprise that the 25-year-old may have forgotten a thing or two. And so it proved to be the case as the Leinster prop forgot to bring his Six Nations winners medal with him when appearing on RTÉ’s Late Late Show.
But the reason the 19stone powerhouse forgot the prized asset is hilarious – he left it at his Grannies in Wexford!
Having popped in to show her the coveted medal, he decided to leave it with the ‘fanatical fan’ so she could show it to some of her friends.
After finding out he would need it for the show he called around again to pick it up but forgot it!

Furlong takes a well-earned rest this weekend as Leinster take on the Ospreys but will be back for his team’s crucial Champions Cup quarter-final clash with Saracens next weekend.
