Simon Zebo and Conor Murray’s bromance still seems to be going strong and steady…
On Friday evening, Munster and Treviso locked horns in the first Guinness PRO14 game of the season at Irish Independent Park with the Irish province triumphing in emphatic fashion by a margin of 34-3.
It was Munster’s eighth win in a row against the Italian outfit and, although the scoreline was undoubtedly impressive, many have already suggested that there is much room for improvement with the Irish side only scoring once in the second half and Tyler Bleyendaal missing four of five attempted conversions.
However, despite the enthralling on-field action, it seems it was a moment off the pitch that caught the Irish sporting world’s attention as a hilarious interaction between Conor Murray and Simon Zebo went viral before the final whistle had even been blown.
Waiting for his teammate to get caught on camera while using his phone, Zebo quickly elbowed Conor Murray as if he was sternly scolding him for not focusing on the game.
The clip immediately did the rounds on Twitter with Zebo himself even posting it after the game.
