Nemani Nadolo illustrated his immense strength against the Blues.
Over the years we have all become accustomed to Nemani Nadolo dismissing opponents with his colossal strength and quick turn of pace. However this morning the big Fijian winger brought things to a whole new level with his mammoth bump off on Matt Duffie.
Although Duffie is not in Nadolo weight division, given the fact that he weighs 92 kg in comparison to the Fijian’s 130 kg, the bump off will most likely be included in highlight reels for years to come.
The massive hit occurred during the Crusaders 28-13 win over the Blues, a game that saw Todd Blackadder’s side underline how potent a weapon the scrum can be.
Such is the ferocity of Nadolo’s run, it looks as if Duffie attempted to shoulder the rampant Crusaders wingers instead of tackling him. As a result of going too high on Nadolo, the Blues full back was sent flying due to the immense impact.
Indeed, only last week 81 kg Chiefs fullback, Damian McKenzie, demonstrated how best to take down the big winger, going low to force the Nadolo off the field.
