Argentina scored three first half tries to beat the Springboks in Durban yesterday
Argentinian winger Juan Imhoff scored a hat-trick yesterday, as Los Pumas shocked the Springboks in Durban. Despite being underdogs, Argentina took the game tot their opponents, scoring a try in the opening minute through Marcelo Bosch.
Two more first half tries followed from Inhoff, before the South African defence was embarrassed after the restart by a quick tap penalty, allowing the winger claim his hat-trick.
A bad day for South Africa was made worse after Jean de Villiers fractured his jaw. The centre’s latest injury leaves him on the sidelines for up to six to eight weeks, and as a result, questions his attendance at the World Cup.
