On Sunday afternoon, the All Blacks took on England in the Rugby U-20 World Championship final with the two sides being the most successful in the competition’s history.
Heading into the game, the All Blacks had won the tournament on five occasions while England had also secured the trophy an impressive four times.
However, the gulf in class between the two giants was somewhat embarrassing on this occasion as New Zealand won the game by a heavy scoreline of 64-17.
England did run over three tries in the contest with Ben Earl, Alex Mitchell and Josh Bayliss all touching down. However, given the fact that the All Blacks ran in a ridiculous ten tries in the trouncing in Tbilisi, the English try scorers surely won’t be jotting down their efforts as ones to remember.
Hooker Asafo Aumua was once again the standout performer for the All Blacks with the ridiculously pacey forward touching down an incredible hat-trick in the final.
