Whilst making an appearance on BT Sport’s ‘Rugby Tonight’ Ali Williams took on the smash-o-meter.
The former All Blacks lock and Toulon man featured on ‘Rugby Tonight’ along with Jonah Lomu. It’s been a little bit of time since Ali was getting stuck in with tackles like that for the All Blacks, but he seems to still have it.
Clocking up a respectable score of 83. Though, we don’t really have any idea what those numbers actually mean. Billy Vunipola is in third and Thomas Waldrom is in first. So we’re assuming they clocked up some pretty big tackles to break the 100 mark. In fact here’s a look at Vunipola’s tackle for comparison.
Ali also discussed those comments he was quoted as saying in the build up to the Rugby World Cup.
