Adam Ashley Cooper’s try broke Argentina’s hearts.
With Argentina looking to get the score that would draw them level, Adam Ashley Cooper scored to break the Puma’s resistance after a brilliant run from Drew Mitchell.
Coming in the 71st minute, the try saw Australia qualify for their first final since 2003. However the Wallabies were made work hard for their win, with Argentina fighting back after conceding two early tries.
While Mitchell’s run was one of the highlights of the game, the space and time he was afforded may have been the result of Argentina being absolutely exhausted after putting in a massive effort.
