Watch: CJ Stander Scores Galloping Try As He Bursts Through The Racing Defence

If ever there was a try to sum up a player’s playing style, this was it.

With Munster leading 11-0 at the Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir, CJ Stander raced up and charged down Benjamin Dambielle’s kick before his side eventually regathered the ball shortly thereafter.

With Munster on the counter-attack, Stander ran inside Dambielle before brushing off Chris Masoe on his way to the try line, where he powered through the challenges of Teddy Thomas and Anthony Tuitavake to score.

Stander’s try was the second of three Munster scores after fullback Simon Zebo opened the scoring with his 50th try for the province, before Andrew Conway added a third try just before halftime.

With Munster leading 25-0 at halftime, Rassie Erasmus’ side can all but lock up Pool 5 with a bonus point win against a Racing side that continues to struggle this season.
