Although Adam Jones might be better known for his scrummaging and crazed hair style, he has clearly added a string to his bow in recent years, demonstrating a calmness when given the opportunity to kick for goal.
Jones, who recently signed a new contract extension with Harlequins that will see him become a player/coach at the Stoop, was spotted warming up ahead of Quins’ encounter with Gloucester in Twickenham on Tuesday.
However, the tighthead was neither conducting or taking part in training drills ahead of the game, but kicking goals.
Fans who arrived early were treated to the sight of 35 year-old going through a unique kicking routine, which involved a glorious toe poked finish over the cross bar.
Jones was clearly impressed by his own efforts, and waved to the assembling crowd in celebration. And why not, how many other tightheads have had the opportunity to kick goals in Twickenham.

Of course Jones does have previous when it comes to emulating the likes of Jonny Wilkinson and Dan Biggar, having attempted to land a match winning drop goal against Munster back in 2014.
