Since England’s three nil series win over Australia, question marks have been asked of the Wallabies’ defence.
Indeed, Australian rugby fans have even gone so far as to question their players commitment. Not only that, but the Wallabies’ locks have come in for particular criticism due to their inability to give Australia a platform from the lineout.
As such, some of Australia’s players can be forgiven for wanting to to step out of the limelight while the Rugby Championship stands down for the weekend.
Will Skelton has not been afforded no such luxury however, after he was sin binned during the West Sydney Rams 44-36 defeat at the hands of Brisbane City.
The 6’8″ inch lock was yellow carded after the referee believed Skelton committed a high tackled against fellow Wallaby international Nick Frisby.
However replays showed that Skelton made absolutely no contact with the scrum half, who appeared to slip under the grasp of the second row.
