Manu Tuilagi is attempting to play his way back into the England squad.
Playing in front of the onlooking Eddie Jones, Manu Tuilagi illustrated his strength flattening Harlequins’ Winston Stanley with a massive hit.
The unfortunate Tuilagi missed both of England’s opening Six Nations games after suffering a hamstring injury as the Leicester Tigers prepared for their game with Gloucester in late January.
Although the injury was in itself not too serious, as Tuilagi had just recovered from a groin injury that saw him miss much of the last year, question marks were raised over his participation in the Six Nations.
However any doubts surrounding his match sharpness were put to bed during tonight’s game with Harlequins. Not only did he make this massive hit on Stanley, but he played an important part in the build up to Harry Thacker’s try.
