Video: Irish Rugby Players’ Hands Aren’t As Steady As You May Think

With 70 or 80,000 fans urging you on or baying for your blood in a cold, wet stadium most Irish rugby players can handle the ball pretty well but put them in a warm indoor setting and they can’t even complete a simple wire-buzz game.

To be fair to the Irish players though, it probably isn’t a staple exercise when it comes to preparing for Rugby World Cup games.

This said, Peter O’Mahony, Greg Feek, Jordi Murphy, Jason Cowman and Sean O’Brien find it pretty difficult to make their way around the electrified wiring for players considered to have nerves of steel.

Let’s just hope Ireland are a bit more steady with a ball in their hands against Romania on Sunday evening in Wembley Stadium.

Joe Schmidt’s side have extra motivation facing their European counterparts too, knowing they can go above France with a bonus point win.
