Drew Mitchell scored an outstanding try for Toulon in the Champions Cup Final yesterday.
It was tighter than many thought. With just 11 minutes to go, Clermont Auvergne were within a point of their rivals after a superb solo try from Nick Abendanon.
However, it was a case of ‘anything you can do, I can do better’ from Toulon as they responded with a stunning solo try of their own through Australian winger Drew Mitchell.
Mitchell broke 5 tackles before powering his way over the line and clinching a historic hat-trick of European titles for Toulon.
