Toulon Linked With Yet Another International Fly Half

Toulon only recently signed Quade Cooper.

Despite only recently signing Quade Cooper and possessing Freddie Michalak, Toulon are rumoured to be interested in signing French international fly half, François Trinh-Duc.

Trinh-Duc’s contract with Montpellier is up at the end of the season and he has already stated that he will leave the Altrad Stadium this summer.

His stance has alerted both Toulon and Toulouse according to ESPN, with Mourad Boudjellal describing Trinh-Duc as being a ‘very good player’.

Although Boudjellal would not be drawn any further on the speculation, such a move would seem a little strange considering the lengths he went to sign Cooper.

If anything else, the speculation once more underlines Toulon’s financial power.
