Munster, Leinster, Saracens and Clermont Auvergne all secured passage to the Champions Cup last four this weekend.
Munster powered past Toulouse in Thomond Park on Saturday after Leinster had eased past Wasps. Saracens ran out 38-13 winners against Glasgow Warriors earlier today while Clermont edged an all-French affair against Toulon in the final game of the weekend.
The semi-finals have now been confirmed with Rassie Erasmus’ charges taking on the ultra-impressive Sarries in the Aviva Stadium. That game is expected to be played on Saturday, April 22nd.
Leinster, meanwhile, will face Clermont in the Stade de Gerland in Lyon. That tie will most likely be played on Sunday the 23rd.
The time and dates of both games will be confirmed in the coming days.
As it stands, Mark McCall’s side remain the favourites in most people’s books with today’s cruise past Glasgow only further proving their serious credentials. Leinster will fancy their chances of getting past Les Jaunards to set up a final with either their oldest rivals or the defending champions.
