Every under fire coach in world rugby will now find themselves looking over their shoulders.
Stuff.co.nz have revealed that both skills coach, Mick Byrne, and backs coach, Wayne Smith, will leave the All Black set up.
Both coaches were instrumental in the New Zealand’s drive for back to back World Cup titles and will leave massive dents in the All Black coaching set up.
Although Smith has been open about his intention to leave the set up for some time, such is his standing and experience, the All Blacks will find it difficult to replace the 58 year old.
While Byrne is not as well known as Smith outside of New Zealand, the Australian born coach is highly regarded within the All Black camp.
Indeed Byrne is credited with improving their ability under the high ball. A deficiency exposed by South Africa in 2009.
