The Telegraph Name Their 41 Man Squad For The Lions 2021 Tour Of South Africa

Although the Lions tour of New Zealand only wrapped up over the weekend, some have already turned their attention to the tourists’ next outing in four years time…

Speculating as to who will be involved in the Lions 2021 tour of South Africa is a pretty fruitless exercise at this point in time with so many unknown quantities likely to crop up over the course of the next four years. However, that hasn’t stopped The Telegraph from having a go at a possible squad for the Springboks series.

Nine Irishmen and nine Welsh are named in the 41 man squad – a whopping 17 Englishmen are named while just six Scottish make the cut.

Players are listed along with their nationality, position and the age they will be in four years time.
