This week we look back at last week’s famous third test between Australia and the Lions in which the Lions won the series.
After a week of controversy following the decision to omit Brain O’Driscoll from the matchday 23, the Lions needed a big performance and they did it in style, winning 41 – 16. After all the talk of Warren Gatland favouring Welsh players by picking ten in the test team, he proved his critics wrong as the Lions played brilliantly to wrap up the series. A 16 year wait for a test series victory is now over.
Next up for the Lions, New Zealand in 2017.
