For this week’s Throwback Thursday, David Gantly looks back at the Six Nations 2013 campaign.
With the 2014 Six Nations tournament now just weeks away, excitement is reaching boiling point. Can Ireland improve on last year’s poor performance under the stewardship of Joe Schmidt? Can England continue to improve and challenge for the title? Which French side will turn up? So many possibilities – this year’s campaign really is to hard to call. Wales will be favourites to retain their crown but with each side steadily improving, they wont have it the easy way.
Wales kick off the campaign against Italy in Cardiff on the 1st of February. England travel to France to take on the French while Ireland host Scotland at the Aviva. A fascinating opening round of fixtures.
Roll on February!
