Stuart Hogg can certainly hit them…
Having seriously impressed throughout the 2017 Six Nations, Stuart Hogg was only recently confirmed as the player of the tournament for the second year running.
Although Scotland finished fourth in the table when all was said and done, the 24-year-old was the standout player for his nation scoring two tries against Ireland and setting up two more against Italy.
Speaking about the award, Hogg stated that it was an honour and that he was delighted with the achievement.
“To receive this award again is an absolute honour, particularly when you take other players on the shortlist into account.
“I’m delighted to be awarded the RBS Player of the Championship Trophy and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted and the fans for their continued support throughout the Championship.”
The Glasgow Warriors full back now looks to be shoo-in for Lions selection and, having some fun with his club’s social media team, Hogg showed off his frightening kicking ability absolutely pinging a kick over the bar from a whopping 58 metres.
