Scotland host England in Murrayfield on Saturday evening, eager to get one over on the ‘Old Enemy’ after a run of losses which stretch back to 2008. The Scots suffered a humiliating defeat at Twickenham last year, as the Red Rose continued their Calcutta Cup domination.

After a stuttering start to this campaign in Cardiff, the Scots found their feet with a hard-fought win over France two weeks ago.

Today, Gregor Townsend has named his team for the England showdown, and he has kept faith with the same XV which saw off Les Bleus.

Greig Laidlaw and Finn Russell team up in the half-backs again, while Sean Maitland, Tommy Seymour and Stuart Hogg make up an exciting back three.

There are changes on the bench, as WP Nel and Tim Swinson return, while Nick Grigg will deputise in the backs.
