Saracens Fans React To Seventh Straight Defeat Against Clermont

Saracens slumped to their seventh defeat on the trot on Sunday evening, losing 24-21 to Clermont.

While the defeat in itself will sting that bit more given the French club clinched the victory at the death, the fact that the Champions Cup holders are now on a seven-game losing run is a real cause for worry.

The result leaves Sarries third in their pool on eleven points heading into the fifth round of Champions Cup fixtures, which will be an away clash against Ospreys.

Ahead of that game, however, Mark McCall and co. have plenty of head-scratching to do to get the London club out of the mess they find themselves in.

Following Sunday’s showing a splattering of onlookers were quick to show their appreciation for a fighting performance, however there was also a degree of shock at just how long this run has gone on.
