Remembering Bryan Habana’s Record Equalling Try Total At RWC 2007

It takes a special player to match Jonah Lumu and Bryan Habana did just that at the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

The Springboks winger absolutely dominated in the 2007 Rugby World Cup, scoring eight Tries over the tournament. A feat achieved by only one other man, a certain Jonah Lumu back in 1999.

It was a superb tournament for Habana, lifting the trophy after defeating England as well as those eight sumptuous tries.

Of course it wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine, who could forget Bryan Habana being absolutely roasted for what was the Try of the Tournament against the USA and Takudzwa Ngwenya.

Can anyone else not wait for RWC 2015? 77 days to go now, please just make it happen already. For now we’re stuck reliving some of the greatest moments from Tournaments past.
