Regardless of the result in Saturday’s series-deciding third Test, the Lions tour of 2017 has been a fascinating one to watch unfold.
From the day Warren Gatland announced his squad, minus Joe Launchbury, right up to Saturday’s enthralling clash in Wellington, there’s been no shortage of drama. The Tourists endured some turbulent preparations with narrow defeats in midweek games suggesting they could be in for a whipping when the All Blacks came calling. The controversy now known as the “Geography Six” stole the headlines for a while before the Tests finally arrived.
The 30-15 defeat in Eden Park did suggest some signs of life but the visitors were largely written off prior to last weekend’s encounter. Their famous win has brought interest levels in the team to a high not seen in several tours and the upcoming series decider is sure to be one of the most watched sports events of the year.
We want to know how well you remember the 2017 Tour so far and we’ve put together the quiz below to test your knowledge.
Full marks, we reckon, is fairly achievable but we’ll be very impressed if you can pull it off.
