Fresh off the back of their victory in the HSBC Vancouver Sevens tournament, where they overcame the mighty Bliztboks, England Sevens vice-captain Phil Burgess is dropping in at 11am on Wednesday to talk about all things rugby.
Rugby Sevens is one of the fastest growing team sports out there these days and following its inaugural involvement in the 2016 Rio Olympics, interest in the sport could not be higher.
Right up there at the top of the sport are the likes of Fiji, who took gold at the 2016 Olympics, South Africa, who have been in rampant form in the Sevens World Series this season, and England, silver medalists in Rio and winners of the recent Vancouver Sevens tournament.
England’s 19-7 victory over South Africa was their second final victory over the Blitzboks, the first win coming in Cape Town back in December, and keeps them in the hunt for the Series title after six rounds.
With Sevens enjoying a groundswell of popularity in the under-age arena, our man Nick Heath will catch up with Burgess at 11am and you can put your questions to one of the fittest athletes in the world during our live feed on Pundit Arena Rugby.
This is an interview you won’t want to miss. Set your reminders now!
