Poll: How Did You Rate The Performance Of Each Lion From That Dramatic Win This Morning?

WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND - JULY 01: Maro Itoje of the Lions celebrates with the fans following their team's 24-21 victory during the second test match between the New Zealand All Blacks and the British & Irish Lions at the Westpac Stadium on July 1, 2017 in Wellington, New Zealand. The Lions shocked much of the rugby world this morning by levelling the series against the All Blacks with a 24-21 win.

Despite being 18-9 down as the clock hit 60, Warren Gatland’s side managed to somehow turn it around and claim a famous victory. Taulupe Faletau started the revival as he barrelled his way over the line in the corner to give his side some hope. It seemed like the All Blacks were going to once again pull away after Beauden Barrett kicked another penalty but the pivotal score of the game went the way of the Lions just moments later.

Conor Murray darted through the home defence to score a famous try. Owen Farrell nailed the conversion to level the score for the first time since the break. The Englishman slotted the winning penalty and the Tourists saw out the final moments with relative ease.

There were several standout performances for the visitors but who was your man of the match? Vote below how you think each man performed in this morning’s heroic win.

We’ll report back later how you rated the Lions.

With so many good performances, it’s hard to foresee many changes to this morning’s side when Gatland releases his team for the crucial encounter on Wednesday.
