Jesse Kriel, currently in Japan playing for the NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes, is certainly not relaxing for his ‘off-season’. The 21 year-old had an amazing season last year, going from an uncapped player included in South Africa’s Rugby Championship squad to a regular starter in a side who came agonisingly close to beating New Zealand in the World Cup semi-final.
The young centre is the restless type, and his hunger for success has seen him spend his off-season playing in Japan. However, it is not all play in the far east, as he looks set to prepare for the upcoming southern hemisphere season.
By the looks of things, 2016 could be bigger and better than 2015 for the young centre, as he seeks to confirm his status as one of the top midfield players in the world.
Bulls and South Africa fans will be very excited to see the centre play this season.
