The Irish rugby jersey for this Autumn’s World Cup has been launched in Galway this morning, and has been met by mixed reaction.
Under IRB regulations, Rugby World Cup jerseys, supporters’ and players’ editions alike, cannot have a sponsor on the front, so the ‘3’ logo is nowhere to be seen.
It is nothing spectacular, but a tidy effort nonetheless. For us, the Scotland jersey is still the best to date.
So what’s the verdict? Will Paul O’Connell be lifting the Webb Ellis cup wearing this kit in a few months’ time?
