Peter O’Mahony will make his long awaited return this weekend.
Munster fans will finally get the chance to see Peter O’Mahony in action this weekend, after Rassie Erasmus named the backrow in his squad to face Zebre in Thomond Park on Saturday.
The inspirational player has been forced to watch from the side lines after suffering a horrific cruciate ligament injury against France during last year’s World Cup. For Rassie Erasmus, the news comes as a massive development, with Munster set to begin their European Champions Cup campaign on October 16.
Elsewhere, South African signing Jaco Taute is set to start at inside centre alongside Keith Earls, with Tyler Bleyendaal and Conor Murray forming the half back partnership.
In the pack, Donnacha Ryan partners Darren O’Shea in the second row, with Stephen Archer given the nod ahead of John Ryan at tight head.
After recording three wins during their opening four fixtures, Munster fans will be confident that their side will be able to beat Zebre tomorrow, before preparing to take on Leinster in the Aviva Stadium next weekend.
