Nigel Owens is widely regarded as the greatest rugby referee on the planet. He strikes the perfect balance between top class officiating and innate humour.
The Welshman was awarded the honour of taking charge at the Rugby World Cup final in Twickenham last Autumn, having played a blinder throughout the tournament.
He will now officiate the Pacific Nations Cup game between Fiji and Tonga, making him the most capped referee in the history of the sport.
Most would agree that there is nobody more deserving of such an accolade.
To mark the occasion, World Rugby caught up with Owens to discuss life as a referee, and an interesting question was posed.
Owens revealed his all time favourite moment from refereeing, and it is truly touching.
This really displays what a great man David Pocock is, and it embodies everything that is great about rugby football.
The courage and sportsmanship it takes to hold back your pain to congratulate the referee for doing his job is a remarkable gesture from Pocock.
Here in Pundit Arena HQ, we would like to take this opportunity to wish Nigel Owens the very best of luck on June 11 as he makes history.
