The next two days will make or break the possibility of an all-Irish Champions Cup final.
Leinster are in action action against Scarlets on Saturday, while Munster face Racing 92 on Sunday for a place in the final next month.
Regardless of who makes it to the final, the match will be played in Bilbao’s San Mames stadium, the 53,000 capacity home of La Liga side Athletic Bilbao.
Fiji international Nemani Nadolo, however, has suggested a different venue for European club rugby’s showpiece fixture (albeit in a tongue-in-cheek manner):
If it turns out to be a Leinster vs Munster final, should we just save the trip across to Spain and let it be played at Croke Park? ??.. jokes joke.. all the best to all the teams!. Thanks for sorting my weekend out. #couchpotato

Nadolo, you may remember, has had a soft spot for hurling for some time now, even once asking former Montpellier teammate Tomas O’Leary for a Cork jersey and jokingly hinting at a move to Erin’s Own to become the “third Fijian superstar” to play for Cork after the Ó hAilpín brothers.

Getting to the home of the GAA to watch a Champions Cup final would undoubtedly be killing two birds with one stone for the 30-year-old.
