Munster Name Team To Face Glasgow

Munster have their their starting XV for the game against Glasgow in the European Rugby Champions Cup.

Following one of the most emotional weeks in the history of Munster and Irish rugby, tomorrow the province will face the Glasgow Warriors, just 24 hours after Anthony Foley’s funeral.

For the players to even take to the field is commendable in itself, and they will be roared on by what promises to be an emotional full house at Thomond Park. Glasgow will no doubt feel uncomfortable attending the fixture.

Although they will want to offer Munster all the support they can, Gregor Townsend’s side will also want to be professional and secure consecutive victories in the Champions Cup, putting them on course for what could turn out to be two pool deciders against Racing 92.

As was expected, Munster have only made one change to the team that was to take on Racing last Sunday before news of Anthony Foley’s death emerged, with Keith Earls coming into the side instead of Ronan O’Mahony on the wing.
