Munster Fans Anticipate Serious Test In The Aviva After Saracens Cruise Past Glasgow

Saracens Munster

Saracens beat Glasgow Warriors 38-13 on Sunday afternoon to set up a European Champions Cup semi-final against Munster in the Aviva Stadium.

Mark McCall’s side were in command for much of the game but struggled to convert their early dominance into points with superb tackles from the Scots keeping it even before Owen Farrell penalties and a 31st minute try from Chris Ashton put daylight between them.

Despite a good start to the second half from Glasgow, the game was soon beyond them after Marcelo Bosc cancelled out Lee Jones try to restore their sizeable lead. A late flurry of tries from both sides left it 38-13 and eliminated Gregor Townsend’s charges.

Sarries will now face Munster, who overcame Toulouse yesterday evening, later this month. Fans of the Irish province have reacted on Twitter to the result and most are understandably┬áscared of one of the northern hemisphere’s top teams.

The game is scheduled for April 22nd. It should be an absolute cracker.
